It might not be this year, or even next, but Richard Hinkley is a little closer to realizing his dream! The Ponoka man won the Top Prize of $1,000 a week for life on PAYDAY and plans to attend the Olympics!
The morning after the draw, he checked the winning numbers online. “I was screaming inside! I had to look at the computer about five times!” Richard recalled when he discovered his win.
Richard opted to take the lump sum payment of $675,000. He said he plans to do some travelling with his winnings. “I would like to go on holidays; specifically somewhere sporting events are involved.” Then Richard added, “Maybe I’ll even go to the Olympics!”
